I work with individuals who are in the middle of a situation that’s testing their resilience, and they need help right now.
It might be one big issue that’s challenging you, but it could also be lots of smaller challenges coming at the same time, and you’re heading towards the straw that broke the camels back.
When you’re struggling, stressed, and tired and your resilience is low, you need focused help to boost you back up and support in resolving your situation in the best way for you.
As a coach, I provide a listening ear, a sounding board, encouragement and support. I help you work through the challenges and consider what your options are, and how you might respond differently or better than you are currently.
As a resilience expert, and someone who has been in a similar position, I can put myself in your shoes and help you get through it and come out the other side stronger. Sometimes we just need someone who is on our side, who has been where we are, and who can hold our hand through the process and provide proven tools to make it easier for us.
Resilience is something you can actively build but often it takes a hit when we go through challenging times and we replace helpful behaviours and habits with less helpful ones as we try to navigate our way out. When you’re in the middle of a situation like that, you need to focus on doing the things that will make the biggest difference for you right in the moment, and that’s not the same for everyone, it depends on both the person and the issue. I’ll work with you to find out what is going to really make a difference, and work out how you can make those changes to make things better for you both now and in the future.
At the start of your first resilience coaching session we will spend some time discussing your current situation and challenges, so we know where we’re starting. Then we’ll move on to consider the future and how you want that to look and what you can and can’t influence. Then we’ll create a plan for your immediate next steps that you can start to implement as soon as we finish the call.
In the second session we will look at the different things that contribute to resilience and score them based on your current situation, and then we’ll use that as guide to put our focus on the right areas that will make a difference to you in the short term.
In the third and final session we will review progress, adjust the plan and build on the work you’ve done so far to embed the helpful behaviours and look at any others you might want to add in to maximise your results.
You can have just one session, or all three, the choice is yours and they’re booked separately so you’re not tied into more than you need. My aim is to keep these sessions as accessible and therefore as affordable as possible as they are paid for by individuals rather than companies.
If you feel like your resilience could do with a boost but you don’t have a pressing challenge that means you need 121 support, you might want to check out the resilience blog posts for some ideas on things you can do to support yourself.
